If y'all are asking why her eyes are more octarian like, it's because she was wearing a sort of contact, making it harder for her to see but making her seem more inkling like. Now that she has them off, she doesn't need her glasses much anymore. She also painted her mask, that's why she was in the bathroom for so long.
